Martino D’Lorenzo is playing the blues on 45s, 78s and LPs from behind the wheel of the Big City Blues Cruise bus, spinning his classic modern radio programs from the 1980s and 1990s originally aired on WEMU-FM in Ypsilanti MI and now heard every Saturday on Radio Free Amsterdam. Episode 55 features guests Emmanuel Garza and Kenny Lang of the Detroit Blues Band and Steve Nardella plus music by Red Prysock, Bobby Charles, Percy Mayfield, Johnny Littlejohn, the Detroit Blues Band, Timbuk 3, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Li’l Ed & The Blues Imperials, Allen Ginsberg, John Sinclair, Lucille Spann, Muddy Waters, Otis Spann, Johnny “Guitar” Watson, and an unidentified artist near the end.
