Episode 55 in the Blues & Roots rebroadcast series features tunes by Coco Robicheaux and Mighty Sam McClain to kick off the show, followed closely bya long set of contemorary Detroit blues by Joe Weaver, Bettye LaVette, Bill Heid & The Detroit Blues Masters with Johnnie Bassett, Alberta Adams, Bobby Murray, The Griswold Brothers (from Toledo), and the late Willie D. Warren, who just passed away at the end of 2000. This show is deduicated to Willie D. and also to the Famous Coachman, who passed on Christmas Eve 2000.
