Shirley Mae Owens (Sugar) and Robert Jr Whitall (Junior) have been publishers and editors of Big City Rhythm & Blues Magazine for 23 years. They have had shows on the Detroit Webstream, UDETROIT, and also on Bill Wax’s BBKing’s Bluesville on Sirius/XM and before that Shirley Mae had 2 radio shows in Kansas City for 10 years on KKFI. They will bring interviews with friends they have collected over 30 years in the R&B galaxy every couple of weeks to
John Sinclair’s show.
