Episode 1045 is coming from Radio Free Amsterdam headquarters in Detroit’s Cass Corridor featuring another hour of music in our continuing examination of the early works of Mac Rebennack, better known as Dr. John. This week’s show investigates his fourth album, The Sun, Moon & Herbs and contains almost the entire program of his classic 1972 collection called Gumbo, missing only one track which has somehow disappeared from my collection. Great stuff!
