John Sinclair Radio Show 798: Goody Man

Episode 798 is coming from the Maple Leaf Bar on Oak Street in uptown New Orleans where Carlo Ditta, Tom Worrell and I will be playing tomorrow night before the Rebirth Brass Band and where the great Walter “Wolfman” Washington can be heard virtually every Sunday night with Joe Krown and Russell Batiste Jr. Not this week though, because the Wolf just left for Amsterdam and I decided to honor his absence with an hour of some of his greatest recordings—or at least my own personal favorites, from hs albums like Blue Moon Rising, Funk Is in the House, Doin’ The Funky Thing, Funk Is in the House, Eddie Bo’s Funky Funky New Orleans, and Leader of the Pack.
