JOHN SINCLAIR RADIO SHOW 983 – DETROIT ARTISTS WORKSHOP

Episode 983 is coming from Radio Free Amsterdam headquarters in Detroit’s Cass Corridor at 55 Peterboro Street with an hour of music by Detroit jazz artists of the 1960s and after from a just-released album from Strut & Art Yard Records in the UK called John Sinclair Presents the Detroit Artists Workshop—Community, Jazz and Art in the Motor City 1965-1981, featuring Charles Moore, Stanley Cowell & the Detroit Contemporary 4, Ron English & Lyman Woodard with the Paradise Theater Orchestra, the Lyman Woodard Organization, and the Bennie Maupin Quartet. I’ve waited many, many years for this record to see the light of day, and now here it is! Special thanks to Peter Dennett of Art Yard Records for his unstinting commitment to this music.
