JOHN SINCLAIR RADIO SHOW 1054 – THE DELTA SOUND

Episode 1054 is coming from my hotel room at the Citadines Bastiile Gare de Lyon in Paris, where I’m appearing in a show dedicated to the art of the late Michael Kelley of suburban Detroit and Los Angeles at the Musee Bourse de Commerce. They’ve titled the show after my blues work in verse, Fattening Frogs for Snakes, so I’ve decided to make an hour of music from the Mississippi Delta highlighting the great artists who have arisen there, including Robert Johnson, Honey Boy Edwards, Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Elmore James, Earl Hooker, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Koko Taylor, Hound Dog Taylor & the Houserockers, J.B. Lenoir, James Cotton, Jimmy Reed, the King Biscuit Boys, Little Walter, Magic Sam, and Magic Slim & the Teardrops.
