George Klein presents an hour of music by pianist Barry Harris as part of his series on musicians from Detroit, featuring Barry’s early dates as a leader starting in 1958, before he left Detroit for New York. We’ll hear a pair of trio sessions for Argo and Riverside, as well as a solo recording and a quintet date with fellow Detroiters.
