George Klein presents the second hour of his feature on tenor saxophonist Lucky Thompson from Detroit, focused on Thompson’s activities in 1956 starting with a Milt Jackson session and a collaboration with Oscar Pettiford & Jimmy Cleveland. Thompson then moved to Paris, and we hear recording sessions with a variety of French musicians.
